Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fernando Correia started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Inácio Rebocho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 7 minutes, Tomás Baldaia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MEGADETH UNITED's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomás Baldaia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joel Cunha kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alexandre Ferro during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Vasco Ramos took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Valério Reis to make any attempt to save it. Valério Reis made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Vasco Ramos sent off a good shot on target. If Fernando Correia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. MEGADETH UNITED's Valério Reis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save MEGADETH UNITED from getting a goal against them. In the 30th minute, Gregório Gago hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SC Paia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Afonso Ramos in the 37th minute. The corner ended in Afonso Ramos almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but MEGADETH UNITED's Valério Reis did a great save. MEGADETH UNITED's Tomás Baldaia got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vasco Ramos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adérito Anjos to strike the kick off in the second half. SC Paia's Fernando Correia got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vasco Ramos spun around in front of the goal 56 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of MEGADETH UNITED's goal. Gregório Bacelar charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gregório Bacelar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 60th minute of the game. One of MEGADETH UNITED:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of SC Paia:s goal. Afonso Ramos placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! If Fernando Correia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valério Reis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Correia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 72 minutes, Vasco Ramos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Paia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vasco Ramos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fernando Correia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Valério Reis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 80th play minutes Vasco Ramos shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Valério Reis and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 83rd minute, Adérito Anjos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 84 minutes, Fernando Correia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Paia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernando Correia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Vasco Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sabino Barbosa during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to MEGADETH UNITED getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Sabino Barbosa hit a great ball. 89 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when SC Paia's Fernando Correia fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. In the 94th minute, Adérito Anjos reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Diamantino Borges. The goal made the score 2-1. The audience was convinced that Alexandre Ferro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Valério Reis was relentless in the 98th minute of the game. When the referee ended the match the SC Paia players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
