When Emílio Vieira came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Coimbrao FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emílio Vieira couldn't finish the play. 34 minutes in the game, André Veiga fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Hilário Sousa having to interfere. In the 35thth minute of the game André Veiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alcafozes's Hilário Sousa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Coimbrao FC's André Pereira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sérgio Tristão in the 36th minute of play. Valter Melo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hilário Sousa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Veiga in the 44th minute of the match. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Valter Melo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Adão Espinosa hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Sérgio Tristão was extremely unlucky when he, in the 75th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Hilário Sousa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nuno Vieira, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. 83 minutes into the game, Sérgio Tristão was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alcafozes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Coimbrao FC the free kick. The supporters of Coimbrao FC booed when Alcafozes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sérgio Tristão didn't get a good kick on the ball.
