The tension between the Ramo FC and the Otta FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 4 played minutes Ramo FC got a freekick which was hit by Máximo Pires. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfredo Gueifão got free with Belchior Gomes in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Jorge Mota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alberto Coimbra did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Belchior Gomes 16 minutes into the match. When Otta FC's Alberto Coimbra in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ramo FC's goalie prevented a goal. Alfredo Gueifão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Otta FC's Alberto Coimbra slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Belchior Gomes. That made the score 2-0 after 29 minutes of play. Cândido Gaspar took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 35th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Pedro Ferro. Otta FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Alfredo Gueifão managed to get in a good position for a shot. Otta FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfredo Gueifão was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Belchior Gomes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alfredo Gueifão could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Belchior Gomes made a huge save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

If Laureano Malafaia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jaime Madureira hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. In the 60th minute, Alexandre Pinho sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Ramo FC's Belchior Gomes didn't even have to move. 67 minutes into the game, Otta FC's Alfredo Gueifão nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Belchior Gomes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. After a rather tough play, Otta FC's Rui Fonseca got a free kick in the 72nd minute. The long shot by Gaspar Candal in the 74th minute really tested Pedro Ferro's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Alberto Coimbra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Belchior Gomes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th minute Alfredo Gueifão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Belchior Gomes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 82 in the game by Jorge Mota from a close distance when the talented Pedro Ferro managed to make a qualified save. Otta FC's players were relieved. Alfredo Gueifão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Belchior Gomes having to interfere. Alberto Coimbra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Belchior Gomes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfredo Gueifão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Otta FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
