Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Alexandre Pinho kicked off to start the match. In the 4th match minute, Quintela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gusmão Nóbrega to maneuver through the defense. Gusmão Nóbrega hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. 8 minutes into the match, Alexandre Pinho notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Quintela's Sílvio Igrejas. Sílvio Igrejas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Lobatos booed when Quintela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nélson Luz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oliveira Viana took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 16th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sílvio Igrejas. Quintela's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 21st minute of the match Adelino Paredes shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sílvio Igrejas showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Basílio Simões fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sílvio Igrejas having to interfere. Alexandre Pinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Sílvio Igrejas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Alexandre Pinho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sílvio Igrejas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After 32 minutes of play, Lobatos's Alexandre Pinho made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sílvio Igrejas was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 40th match minute, Quintela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filipe Carvalhal to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jacinto Sacadura during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jacinto Sacadura hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. 42 minutes into the match, Quintela's goal looked a bit too open when Basílio Simões came free, but Sílvio Igrejas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Quintela's Jacinto Sacadura got a free kick in the 45th minute. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Alexandre Pinho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Basílio Simões got free with Sílvio Igrejas in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sílvio Igrejas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexandre Pinho in the 73rd minute of the match. With his leg Sílvio Igrejas managed to avoid a goal in the 74thth minute, when Lobatos's Basílio Simões fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Lobatos's Alexandre Pinho got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Basílio Simões recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alexandre Pinho struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Sílvio Igrejas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lobatos. Sílvio Igrejas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandre Pinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Lobatos players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
