The SC Infias fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when SC Infias's Simão Vaz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. SC Infias's Armindo Maia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristiano Seixas in the 21st minute of play. 23 minutes into the game, Cristiano Seixas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. U.D.CASTROMARINENSE's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Infias the free kick. In the 23rd match minute, U.D.CASTROMARINENSE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristiano Seixas to maneuver through the defense. Simão Vaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Simão Vaz in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gonçalo Saraiva saved U.D.CASTROMARINENSE from getting behind. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jorge Carvalho made a kick off. The supporters of U.D.CASTROMARINENSE booed when SC Infias was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xavier Amaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, SC Infias's Gonçalo Saraiva threw himself towards the right post 57 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Xavier Amaro, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Simão Vaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Gonçalo Saraiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to U.D.CASTROMARINENSE getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Quintino Onofre hit a great ball. Simão Vaz scored 2-2 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gonçalo Saraiva, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jorge Carvalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Gonçalo Saraiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Jordão Abreu fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored U.D.CASTROMARINENSE's protests and gave Jordão Abreu a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of SC Infias booed when U.D.CASTROMARINENSE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jordão Abreu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in SC Infias fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 74th minute. Penalty! Alexandre Correia kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. 85 minutes into the match, Jorge Carvalho dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gonçalo Saraiva, 3-3. When Jorge Carvalho came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the SC Infias fans jumped to their feet. Quintino Onofre's late challenge caught a SC Infias's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Quintino Onofre helped the player get up and apologised. In the 94th minute, Quintino Onofre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Simão Vaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The SC Infias players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented U.D.CASTROMARINENSE from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
