Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Cristóvão Azevedo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Sílvio Saraiva came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Cruzeiro's Cristóvão Azevedo. But to his dismay, Cristóvão Azevedo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Sílvio Saraiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Martins in the 13th minute of play. Augusto Castro kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Sílvio Saraiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Martins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Martins in the 18th minute of play forced Silveirinho FC's goalkeeper Sílvio Saraiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Cruzeiro booed when Silveirinho FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donato Sacramento didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute Cristóvão Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sílvio Saraiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silveirinho FC's Sílvio Saraiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Martins in the 23rd minute of play. Carlos Simões made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jacob Brites in the 25th minute. Kevin Quinaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Simões having to interfere. Cruzeiro's Carlos Simões played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kevin Quinaz in the 29th minute of play. Cristóvão Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sílvio Saraiva having to interfere. Cristóvão Azevedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 41st minute of the match Rodrigo Fonseca sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sílvio Saraiva skillfully saved the ball. The Silveirinho FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cruzeiro were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Kevin Quinaz made the kick off in the second half. If Jacob Brites had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silveirinho FC's Jacob Brites got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Augusto Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Simões having to interfere. If Carlos Martins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Carlos Martins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kevin Quinaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristóvão Azevedo in the 91st minute of play forced Silveirinho FC's goalkeeper Sílvio Saraiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Cruzeiro getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Bernardo Sá hit a great ball. The Silveirinho FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Cruzeiro's performance. The match ended with a win for Cruzeiro.
