Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) SC Benespera's Raul Henriques started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lúcio Sá during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sílvio Saraiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raul Henriques, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 13 played minutes SC Benespera got a freekick which was hit by Lúcio Sá. In the 14th minute Kevin Quinaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Leão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute, Jacob Brites got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the SC Benespera defense, Kevin Quinaz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Leão. The SC Benespera fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Leão should have stopped the shot. If Manuel Moreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th match minute, SC Benespera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Gomes to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to SC Benespera getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Jorge Gomes hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Silveirinho FC's zone, Raul Henriques stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sílvio Saraiva came out of the goal and Raul Henriques tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jacob Brites received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Pedro Leão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eusébio Cunha during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to SC Benespera getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Eusébio Cunha hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

In the 53rd match minute, SC Benespera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raul Henriques to maneuver through the defense. After 56 played minutes Silveirinho FC got a freekick which was hit by Kevin Quinaz. SC Benespera's Pedro Leão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save SC Benespera from getting a goal against them. 71 minutes into the match, SC Benespera's goal looked a bit too open when Kevin Quinaz came free, but Pedro Leão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Leão made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Jacob Brites sent off a good shot on target. In the 79th match minute, Silveirinho FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donato Sacramento to maneuver through the defense. When Donato Sacramento fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Silveirinho FC's protests and gave Donato Sacramento a yellow card for diving instead. Sílvio Saraiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Moreira in the 83rd minute of play. Jacob Brites sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Januário Gusmão charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Januário Gusmão the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 93rd minute there was a penalty for SC Benespera. Tiago Luz stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Sílvio Saraiva. 1-1. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
