When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alexandre Guarda made a kick off. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Afonso Correia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 55 played minutes Academia RNC got a freekick which was hit by Américo Ferro. Lúcio Vaz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Diamantino Esteves showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 95 minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched SC Cacarelhos eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
