Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Cristiano Moutinho made the kick off which started today's match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusébio Nogueira in the 4th minute of play forced Crescido's goalkeeper Marco Pinheiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 6 minutes into the game, Cristiano Moutinho recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Afonso Correia. Cristiano Moutinho showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 9 minutes into the match, SC Cacarelhos's goal looked a bit too open when Cristiano Moutinho came free, but Afonso Correia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Afonso Correia came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Crescido's Paulo Araújo. But to his dismay, Paulo Araújo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Albertino Lima hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Marco Pinheiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Henriques in the 20th minute of the match. António Coelho hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. It was beautiful to see Crescido's Manuel Barros in action when he in the 24th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! In the 25th match minute, SC Cacarelhos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustavo Melo to maneuver through the defense. In the 27th minute Cristiano Moutinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afonso Correia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 33 minutes, Paulo Araújo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Crescido's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulo Araújo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristiano Moutinho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Paulo Araújo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Afonso Correia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Crescido booed when SC Cacarelhos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albertino Lima didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Paulo Araújo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Crescido's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulo Araújo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Afonso Correia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marco Henriques stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eusébio Nogueira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Marco Pinheiro made a huge save. If Marco Henriques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 59 minutes into the match, SC Cacarelhos's goal looked a bit too open when Cristiano Moutinho came free, but Afonso Correia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 61 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Paulo Araújo sped through SC Cacarelhos's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Afonso Correia. 70 minutes into the game, SC Cacarelhos's Marco Henriques nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marco Pinheiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Cristiano Moutinho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Crescido's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristiano Moutinho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Afonso Correia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marco Pinheiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Henriques in the 77th minute of the match. Crescido's Cristiano Moutinho got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 89 minutes into the match, Paulo Araújo notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of SC Cacarelhos's Afonso Correia. Afonso Correia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Afonso Correia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Araújo in the 93rd minute of the match. With a little luck, Crescido's Marco Pinheiro got control of the ball when Eusébio Nogueira tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Crescido fans cheered their team off the field, for while SC Cacarelhos had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
