Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Alberto Macedo kicked off to start the match. After a rather tough play, SC Pateo's Alberto Macedo got a free kick in the 2nd minute. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Pateo's goalkeeper Ricardo Leite, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pedro Veiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rodrigo Aguiar scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lourenço Valente, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 11 minutes into the match, Sc matosinhos's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Aguiar came free, but Lourenço Valente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lourenço Valente showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Macedo in the 14th minute of the match. Pedro Veiga hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Sc matosinhos's Lourenço Valente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Aguiar in the 19th minute of play. Lourenço Valente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Macedo in the 21st minute of play. If Gaspar Moura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the last second Ricardo Leite throw himself and got hold of the ball when Gaspar Moura in the 25thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Gaspar Moura was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 29th minute. Sc matosinhos's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Rodrigo Aguiar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gaspar Moura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sc matosinhos's Gaspar Moura got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raul Borges in the 39th minute of play forced Sc matosinhos's goalkeeper Lourenço Valente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodrigo Aguiar took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lourenço Valente. Lourenço Valente dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 45th minute Mariano Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lourenço Valente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Veiga kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After the first half SC Pateo were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Gaspar Moura made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Sc matosinhos's Lourenço Valente got control of the ball when Rodrigo Aguiar tried to sneak it across the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, Sc matosinhos's goal looked a bit too open when Raul Borges came free, but Lourenço Valente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 58 minutes of play, SC Pateo's Rodrigo Aguiar made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lourenço Valente was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 63rd minute Gaspar Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Leite saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gaspar Moura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Leite having to interfere. Adan Berasko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ricardo Leite showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaspar Moura, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Rodrigo Aguiar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gaspar Moura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lourenço Valente took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Macedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Filipe Baptista kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Cristiano Tavares struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Ricardo Leite didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sc matosinhos. In the 89th minute, Gaspar Moura got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 92 minutes, Alberto Macedo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Pateo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberto Macedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Sc matosinhos's Luís Cruz got a free kick in the 95th minute. A hard shot by Tiago Guerreiro from long distance, 97 minutes into the match, got Lourenço Valente's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side.
