In the 8thth minute of the game José Carvalho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fim da Mentira's Alex Lameiras was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Cairrao's José Carvalho in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fim da Mentira's goalie prevented a goal. Reinaldo Anjos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th minute, André Faria made a precise shot to the right of Alex Lameiras. Fim da Mentira's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. With his leg Alex Lameiras managed to avoid a goal in the 31stth minute, when Cairrao's André Faria fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 32nd minute, Cairrao's José Carvalho dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Matias Zambujal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fim da Mentira's supporters rose to their feet, but Matias Zambujal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manuel Delgado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that José Carvalho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alex Lameiras was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. José Carvalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 47 minutes into the match, Matias Zambujal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Manuel Delgado. Cairrao's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Matias Zambujal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Reinaldo Anjos to strike the kick off in the second half. André Faria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Lameiras having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Fim da Mentira's Pedro Albuquerque got a free kick in the 58th minute. André Faria blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alex Lameiras having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers André Faria in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alex Lameiras saved Fim da Mentira from getting behind. Fim da Mentira's Alex Lameiras played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Faria in the 70th minute of play. In the 72nd minute André Faria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Lameiras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When André Faria came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Cairrao fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that André Faria couldn't finish the play. André Faria scored 3-1 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alex Lameiras, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. José Carvalho kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Alex Lameiras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Faria, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. André Faria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Alex Lameiras tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. José Carvalho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alex Lameiras read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. In the 95th minute, José Carvalho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 97th minute José Carvalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Lameiras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. André Faria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the Cairrao players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
