Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Amadeu Mendes made the kick off and thus started the match. After a defensive mix-up in Cujo's zone, José Trindade stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mariano Queirós came out of the goal and José Trindade tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. José Trindade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Mariano Queirós tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cujo's Mariano Queirós played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Maia in the 8th minute of play. Cristóvão Leite kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. The supporters of Ermidas FC booed when Cujo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Branco didn't get a good kick on the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Ermidas FC's Simão Delgado broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 15 minutes into the game, Bruno Maia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Mariano Queirós was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Maia in the 19th minute of play forced Cujo's goalkeeper Mariano Queirós to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21stth minute of the game Amadeu Mendes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ermidas FC's Pedro Campos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 22nd minute, Bruno Maia made a precise shot to the right of Mariano Queirós. Cujo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Gonçalo Sousa kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. If José Trindade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bruno Maia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bruno Maia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Amadeu Mendes came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Cujo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amadeu Mendes couldn't finish the play. Inácio Miranda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Pedro Campos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gonçalo Sousa charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gonçalo Sousa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gonçalo Sousa hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. 59 minutes into the match, Cujo's Carlos Branco broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Ermidas FC's Bruno Maia got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cujo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Mariano Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Maia, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Ermidas FC's zone, Cândido Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Campos came out of the goal and Cândido Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Inácio Miranda struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Pedro Campos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cujo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inácio Miranda in the 96th minute of play forced Ermidas FC's goalkeeper Pedro Campos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
