In the 12thth minute of the game Alex Assunção who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ardegao's Rui Borges was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 13th match minute, Ardegao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rui Antunes to maneuver through the defense. If Alex Assunção had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rui Borges took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hélder Pádua, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gustavo Neto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristiano Vilar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Carlos Moura left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ardegao fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. If Carlos Moura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 38 minutes into the match, MikeZone's goalkeeper Cristiano Vilar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Moura. In the 39th minute Gustavo Neto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristiano Vilar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hélder Pádua received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Rui Borges tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rui Borges made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Assunção in the 42nd minute of play. Gustavo Neto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristiano Vilar having to interfere. Lourenço Teixeira hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the match clock showed 53 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Carlos Moura sped through MikeZone's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cristiano Vilar. 3-0 became the score in the 61st minute when Gustavo Neto elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Cristiano Vilar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustavo Neto, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Rogério Correia kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Carlos Moura recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristiano Vilar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Moura in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 76th minute, Hélder Pádua got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gustavo Neto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlos Moura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristiano Vilar having to interfere. Gustavo Neto struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Cristiano Vilar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ardegao. After 87 played minutes MikeZone got a freekick which was hit by Leal Marinho. Hélder Pádua struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. If Alex Assunção had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Ardegao were the better team. Ardegao's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
