A very good chance. 12 minutes into the match, Victory St United's goal looked a bit too open when Humberto Jesus came free, but Augusto Lisboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sandro Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 18 minutes, Rui Mendes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carregosa FC and the Victory St United players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rui Mendes kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Humberto Santos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Humberto Santos's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 24thth minute, Armindo Vieira skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 25 minutes into the match, Humberto Santos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Armindo Vieira. Carregosa FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Humberto Santos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After a rather tough play, Victory St United's Gustavo Fonseca got a free kick in the 28th minute. Augusto Lisboa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Humberto Jesus's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. With his leg Armindo Vieira managed to avoid a goal in the 36thth minute, when Victory St United's Humberto Santos fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Humberto Santos came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Victory St United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Humberto Santos couldn't finish the play. Sandro Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armindo Vieira having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sandro Andrade made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Humberto Santos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Armindo Vieira was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Sandro Andrade blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Armindo Vieira having to make a save. Humberto Santos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sandro Andrade during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sandro Andrade's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Armindo Vieira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Santos in the 70th minute of play forced Carregosa FC's goalkeeper Armindo Vieira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Armindo Vieira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Humberto Santos's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. 75 minutes into the match, Jorge Nunes notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Victory St United's Augusto Lisboa. Augusto Lisboa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alberto Morais during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 79 played minutes Victory St United got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Morais. In the 81stth minute of the game Sandro Andrade who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carregosa FC's Armindo Vieira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Armindo Vieira didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Victory St United's Sandro Andrade shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 4-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Victory St United's Alberto Morais got his second yellow card of the match in the 87th minute. The referee ordered Alberto Morais off the ground. In the 88th match minute, Victory St United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Morais to maneuver through the defense. Humberto Santos struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Armindo Vieira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Victory St United. Armindo Vieira came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Victory St United's Vicente Sá. But to his dismay, Vicente Sá quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. When Gustavo Fonseca fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Victory St United's protests and gave Gustavo Fonseca a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Carregosa FC booed when Victory St United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustavo Fonseca didn't get a good kick on the ball.
