Rui Jesus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 6 played minutes Manager Zone Portugal got a freekick which was hit by Veríssimo Abrantes. The audience cheered when Tarcísio Vidal's long shot passed Eduardo Godinho's right side. It was 1-0, 7 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Finzes FC defense, Valter Lamego kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Romão Gueifão. The Finzes FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Romão Gueifão should have stopped the shot. If Jesualdo Granja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Valter Lamego sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Finzes FC's Jesualdo Granja got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Valter Lamego struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Romão Gueifão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Manager Zone Portugal. Finzes FC's Romão Gueifão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valter Lamego in the 38th minute of play. If Inácio Sesimbra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After the first half Manager Zone Portugal were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Valter Lamego made the kick off in the second half. Matias Mansilha kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, Rui Jesus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Jesualdo Granja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eduardo Godinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jesualdo Granja, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Romão Gueifão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valter Lamego, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eduardo Godinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rui Jesus in the 75th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 77th minute by Valter Lamego got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Romão Gueifão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valter Lamego in the 78th minute of play. Jesualdo Granja fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Godinho having to interfere. Manager Zone Portugal's Inácio Sesimbra got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jesualdo Granja might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eduardo Godinho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jesualdo Granja ran back to his position shaking his head. 96 minutes into the match, Finzes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Valter Lamego came free, but Romão Gueifão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Manager Zone Portugal players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
