Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Herberto Pimenta started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the game, Alexandre Soveral was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Abraveses FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vialongono the free kick. A collision led to Abraveses FC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Alexandre Soveral hit a great ball. Herberto Pimenta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Higino Roriz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Abraveses FC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Alexandre Soveral hit a great ball. Januário Prestes was a little too slow when Herberto Pimenta got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 11th minute. The score was now 1-0. After having played for 14 minutes, Abel Andrade managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Abraveses FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abel Andrade was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 25 minutes, João Macena mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Abraveses FC and the Vialongono players grew even worse after the yellow card. The long shot by Basílio Belo in the 26th minute really tested Januário Prestes's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Higino Roriz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Januário Prestes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Herberto Pimenta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Januário Prestes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 44 played minutes Abraveses FC got a freekick which was hit by Octávio Brochado. In the 45th minute, Higino Roriz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The supporters of Vialongono booed when Abraveses FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Andrade didn't get a good kick on the ball. Higino Roriz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Januário Prestes having to interfere. Januário Prestes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herberto Pimenta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Higino Roriz came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Vialongono fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Higino Roriz couldn't finish the play. If Herberto Pimenta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. André Palmeira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from João Macena went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Herberto Pimenta in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Januário Prestes saved Abraveses FC from getting behind. After 79 minutes, Abel Andrade mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Abraveses FC and the Vialongono players grew even worse after the yellow card. After having played for 90 minutes, João Macena managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Abraveses FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but João Macena was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Abraveses FC's João Macena got a free kick in the 92nd minute. In the 95th minute of the match Vialongono got a corner. Abraveses FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Basílio Belo ran over to the corner to take the kick. Vialongono's Basílio Belo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Januário Prestes in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. André Palmeira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from João Macena went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. The Abraveses FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
