After having played for 20 minutes, Filipe Gomes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Berlengas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filipe Gomes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 24 minutes, Márcio Vilhena mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bagueixe FC and the Berlengas players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 26 played minutes Bagueixe FC got a freekick which was hit by Isac Vidigal. 27 minutes into the match, Berlengas's Pedro Almeida broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Bento Campos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Hermenegildo Bacelar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bento Campos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bento Campos scored 0-1 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hermenegildo Bacelar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Filipe Gomes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hermenegildo Bacelar was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Adolfo Veiga went to the wrong direction when Jorge Soveral was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. If Abílio Leitão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adolfo Veiga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusébio Frois in the 91st minute of play. When Ricardo Ferro fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Berlengas's protests and gave Ricardo Ferro a yellow card for diving instead. In the 92nd minute, Ricardo Ferro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adolfo Veiga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusébio Frois, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The Bagueixe FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Berlengas's performance. The match ended with a win for Berlengas.
