Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Amável Figueiredo made the kick off which started today's match. Carlos Pires made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juvenal Bettencourt in the 5th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Alcides Gois in the 7th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Caxinas F.C's Gabriel Beltza. José Nascimento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Idalécio Candeias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Pacheco scored 1-0 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Idalécio Candeias, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A throw-in in the 18th minute of the game was made by Reinaldo Menezes with Salvador Vilas Boas as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 20 minutes into the match, Caxinas F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Amável Figueiredo came free, but Carlos Pires reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. José Nascimento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Saúl Álvares during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Saúl Álvares hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind SLB's goalkeeper Idalécio Candeias, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Humberto Porto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SLB's Idalécio Candeias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Quinaz in the 32nd minute of play. Caxinas F.C's Gabriel Beltza got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The throw-in from Cândido Morais in the 41st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Caxinas F.C's Sandro Vides. In the 43rd minute, José Nascimento ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Idalécio Candeias was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for José Nascimento to strike the kick off in the second half. Humberto Porto kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. In the 54th minute of the match Cândido Morais shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Carlos Pires showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Carlos Pires took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amável Figueiredo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When José Nascimento came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Caxinas F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Nascimento couldn't finish the play. José Nascimento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Idalécio Candeias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 61 minutes, Gaspar Carvalho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Caxinas F.C and the SLB players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of SLB booed when Caxinas F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaspar Carvalho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Caxinas F.C's Virgílio Roquette was substituted for Humberto Porto. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandro Vides in the 78th minute of play forced SLB's goalkeeper Idalécio Candeias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Caxinas F.C's Virgílio Roquette got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Virgílio Roquette sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Virgílio Roquette struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Idalécio Candeias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caxinas F.C. After a defensive mix-up in SLB's zone, José Nascimento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Idalécio Candeias came out of the goal and José Nascimento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 90th minute José Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Idalécio Candeias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Virgílio Roquette received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Idalécio Candeias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 97th minute of the match, Juvenal Bettencourt got a very nice opportunity to score, but Carlos Pires was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Caxinas F.C fully deserved thier win.
