Fernando Setúbal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Isac Boaventura having to make a save. Isac Boaventura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Setúbal in the 8th minute of play. Pinhote's Isac Boaventura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Setúbal in the 25th minute of play. In the 28th minute of the game Basílio Coelho made a throw-in which Alexandre Pacheco played forward. Romão Ávila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuno Lopes having to interfere. Pinhote's Isac Boaventura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Setúbal in the 36th minute of play. Isac Boaventura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Castro in the 42nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Setúbal in the 47th minute of play forced Pinhote's goalkeeper Isac Boaventura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Américo Campos struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Nuno Lopes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pinhote. In the 57th match minute, Pinhote was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mariano Lisboa to maneuver through the defense. 59 minutes into the match, Fernando Setúbal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Isac Boaventura. Isac Boaventura was out of position in the 70 minute of play, and Paulo Setúbal capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Paulo Setúbal really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. If Américo Campos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gustavo Castro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Isac Boaventura made a huge save. Américo Campos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuno Lopes having to interfere. Pinhote's Isac Boaventura proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Pinhote from getting a goal against them. Fernando Setúbal came free with the goalkeeper in the 85th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Isac Boaventura could save by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Pinhote's zone, Fernando Setúbal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isac Boaventura came out of the goal and Fernando Setúbal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Freimi played a much better game than Pinhote and deserved their victory. The Pinhote players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
