Romão Monteiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Adolfo Freitas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paulo Viana kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 21st minute of the match, Abel Gouveia tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Adolfo Freitas saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Cássio Cesário's late challenge caught a Alfouvez's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cássio Cesário helped the player get up and apologised. Teodoro Ornelas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oliveira Ferreira in the 28th minute of the match. After 30 played minutes, Alfouvez's André Teixeira shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Teodoro Ornelas came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Alfouvez reached it. In the 31st match minute, Alfouvez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amílcar Leite to maneuver through the defense. 34 minutes into the match, Alfouvez's goalkeeper Adolfo Freitas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Romão Monteiro. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Oliveira Ferreira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alfouvez's supporters rose to their feet, but Oliveira Ferreira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teodoro Ornelas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Bento Pinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Oliveira Ferreira to strike the kick off in the second half. ComElaDireita's defense didn't have a chance, in the 53rd minute, when Bento Pinho scored to the left of an out of position Teodoro Ornelas, making the score, 1-1. Bento Pinho scored 1-2 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Teodoro Ornelas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
