Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) In the 5th minute, Armindo Carvalho fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. A collision led to Palhaca getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. José Guerreiro hit a great ball. With a little luck, Palhaca's Artur Borges got control of the ball when Armindo Carvalho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cristóvão Sacramento struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Artur Borges didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Beijos. After having played for 15 minutes, Cristóvão Sacramento managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Beijos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristóvão Sacramento was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 19th minute Pedro Paiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sidónio Azenha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Armindo Carvalho fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Beijos's protests and gave Armindo Carvalho a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Palhaca booed when SC Beijos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armindo Carvalho didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th minute Pedro Paiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sidónio Azenha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 26 played minutes SC Beijos got a freekick which was hit by Sérgio Vasques. When Palhaca's Pedro Paiva in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Beijos's goalie prevented a goal. In the 28th match minute, SC Beijos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juvenal Salgueiro to maneuver through the defense. Pedro Paiva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 31st minute, Gustavo Cunha made a precise shot to the right of Sidónio Azenha. SC Beijos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. A collision led to Palhaca getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Sebastião Faro hit a great ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pedro Paiva was the one to do the kick off. Cristóvão Sacramento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Artur Borges tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Palhaca's Pedro Paiva ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sidónio Azenha. Sidónio Azenha yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. 64 minutes into the match, SC Beijos's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Paiva came free, but Sidónio Azenha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Juvenal Salgueiro fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Beijos's protests and gave Juvenal Salgueiro a yellow card for diving instead. Pedro Paiva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 68th minute Pedro Paiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sidónio Azenha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Palhaca's Gustavo Cunha got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 73 played minutes Pedro Paiva rounded SC Beijos's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Armindo Carvalho in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Artur Borges saved Palhaca from getting behind. In the 81st minute Pedro Paiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sidónio Azenha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Palhaca's goal looked a bit too open when Armindo Carvalho came free, but Artur Borges reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Armindo Carvalho was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 86 minutes had been played. In the 87th minute, Armindo Carvalho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SC Beijos's Sidónio Azenha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Paiva in the 89th minute of play. If Cristóvão Sacramento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The SC Beijos manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Palhaca to win.
