Paulo Resende recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Torcato Fragoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viriato Paredes, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 25th minute, Paulo Resende left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Carrapatas FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. The supporters of Orelhudo f.c. booed when Carrapatas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rui Alves didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st match minute, Carrapatas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquim Cabral to maneuver through the defense. Vladimiro Palha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oliveira Mendes having to interfere. Orelhudo f.c.'s Vladimiro Palha got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Telmo Prates received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Oliveira Mendes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joaquim Cabral kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Avelino Aveiro hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Orelhudo f.c.'s Torcato Fragoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viriato Paredes in the 48th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Torcato Fragoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viriato Paredes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marco Barbosa kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the game, Viriato Paredes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Torcato Fragoso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Viriato Paredes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Paulo Resende came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Carrapatas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulo Resende couldn't finish the play. Viriato Paredes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torcato Fragoso having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Telmo Prates in the 72nd minute of play forced Carrapatas FC's goalkeeper Oliveira Mendes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Telmo Prates sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 78 minutes into the game, Basílio Cunha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carrapatas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Orelhudo f.c. the free kick. After 77 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. Moisés Vidal kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Paulo Resende managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carrapatas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulo Resende was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Torcato Fragoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Orelhudo f.c.'s goalkeeper Torcato Fragoso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vladimiro Palha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Oliveira Mendes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Carrapatas FC had won after a very even match.
