Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Vítor Dantas started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Vítor Dantas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rui Leiria having to interfere. Vítor Dantas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Bajolo getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Sérgio Moutinho hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alexandre Alves during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, SC Seca's Alexandre Alves got a free kick in the 10th minute. Bruno Soares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 15th minute, Jorge Pereira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bajolo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 18th minute, Artur Teixeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vítor Dantas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rui Leiria came out and tried to block the shot, but Vítor Dantas slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 22nd minute. After 25 played minutes SC Seca got a freekick which was hit by Eusébio Moreira. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Soares in the 26th minute of play forced SC Seca's goalkeeper Vítor Nogueira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Jorge Pereira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With an all-out effort, SC Seca's Rui Leiria threw himself towards the right post 31 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Vítor Dantas, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 40 minutes, Eusébio Moreira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Seca and the Bajolo players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Bajolo booed when SC Seca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusébio Moreira didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 45 played minutes Bajolo got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Melo. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jorge Pereira to make the kick off. Bruno Soares blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vítor Nogueira having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vítor Dantas in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rui Leiria saved Bajolo from getting behind. SC Seca's Vítor Nogueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Pereira in the 68th minute of play. Alexandre Alves was shown his second yellow card after 72 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 72 played minutes SC Seca got a freekick which was hit by Alexandre Alves. Rui Leiria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artur Teixeira in the 78th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Bajolo's Alberto Barros got a free kick in the 78th minute. Jorge Pereira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Armando Mendes came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the SC Seca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Armando Mendes couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vítor Dantas during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 87 played minutes SC Seca got a freekick which was hit by Vítor Dantas. Jorge Moutinho was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 88th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After some careless play in the SC Seca defense, Bruno Soares kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vítor Nogueira. The SC Seca fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vítor Nogueira should have stopped the shot.
