SC Lavajo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Armamar FC the free kick. The supporters of Armamar FC booed when SC Lavajo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rui Ramos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jorge Laureano who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 9thth minute tested the skills of Jorge Neves when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Armamar FC's Jorge Laureano got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adelino Antunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Neves having to interfere. In the 35thth minute of the game Mariano Álvares who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Lavajo's Jorge Neves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jorge Laureano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Miguel Pinheiro to make the kick off. Domingos Miranda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nivaldo Santarém showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Pinheiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Miguel Pinheiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nivaldo Santarém. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Miguel Pinheiro ran back to his position shaking his head. Jorge Laureano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fernando Bessa charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fernando Bessa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 67th match minute, SC Lavajo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Bessa to maneuver through the defense. 69 minutes into the game, Jorge Laureano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Armamar FC had won after a very even match.
