Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Miguel Pinheiro started the match with the kick off. After 4 played minutes SC Lavajo got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Bessa. Basílio Vaz came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Lavajo's Domingos Miranda. But to his dismay, Domingos Miranda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Bruno Brito managed to get in a good position for a shot. Covelos's supporters rose to their feet, but Bruno Brito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jorge Neves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling André Fernandes in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jorge Neves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 18th minute Miguel Pinheiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basílio Vaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Covelos's goalkeeper Basílio Vaz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. André Fernandes struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Jorge Neves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Covelos. André Fernandes took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jorge Neves. Jorge Neves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 28th minute, Bruno Brito made a precise shot to the right of Jorge Neves. SC Lavajo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Fernandes in the 38th minute of play forced SC Lavajo's goalkeeper Jorge Neves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Covelos were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after SC Lavajo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Artur Santos took the corner. Miguel Pinheiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Covelos were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Jorge Neves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Brito, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Basílio Vaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Pinheiro in the 66th minute of the match. 66 minutes into the match, Miguel Pinheiro notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Covelos's Basílio Vaz. Basílio Vaz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, SC Lavajo's Domingos Miranda got a free kick in the 71st minute. Jorge Neves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Brito in the 74th minute of the match. In the 78th minute, Domingos Miranda made a precise shot to the right of Basílio Vaz. Covelos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3.
