Gonçalo Resende took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Godfredo Bidari. Godfredo Bidari dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Rui Leiria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristóvão Soares in the 23rd minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, BR SQUAD's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Amorim came free, but Godfredo Bidari reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, BR SQUAD's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastião Santarém came free, but Godfredo Bidari reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th match minute, BR SQUAD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusébio Amaral to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 69 minutes, Cristóvão Soares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BR SQUAD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristóvão Soares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alexandre Coimbra's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Godfredo Bidari firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 71 minutes, Sebastião Marques mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BR SQUAD and the SC Guardas players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sebastião Marques kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. After 73 played minutes, SC Guardas's Gonçalo Resende shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Godfredo Bidari came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. SC Guardas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristóvão Soares was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. The BR SQUAD support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
