Albertino Rodrigues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Peseiro having to interfere. In the 10th minute, Albertino Rodrigues got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Éder Madruga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. André Setúbal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leandro Viveiros in the 16th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Azinhalinho's zone, Anselmo Melo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. André Setúbal came out of the goal and Anselmo Melo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 26 minutes, Albertino Rodrigues made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Albardo's Luís Peseiro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Albardo's Luís Peseiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Santos in the 30th minute of play. When Azinhalinho's Albertino Rodrigues in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Albardo's goalie prevented a goal. The referee gave Azinhalinho a penalty, 35 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Carlos Ribeiro, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Albardo's Luís Peseiro. 1-2. The supporters of Azinhalinho booed when Albardo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anselmo Melo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emanuel Santos to make the kick off. If Albertino Rodrigues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 61 played minutes Emanuel Santos rounded Albardo's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-3. Albardo's Luís Peseiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Santos in the 72nd minute of play. Albertino Rodrigues recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 78th minute, Leandro Viveiros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Emanuel Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Albertino Rodrigues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Luís Peseiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Albertino Rodrigues managed to get in a good position for a shot. Azinhalinho's supporters rose to their feet, but Albertino Rodrigues was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luís Peseiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 90 minutes into the match, Albertino Rodrigues had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luís Peseiro. Albardo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Albertino Rodrigues was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Alexandre Guerreiro kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Azinhalinho's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
