The audience was convinced that Fábio Borges's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jorge Henriques was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lourenço Paiva to make the kick off. He walked away shaking his head. If Fábio Borges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 71 minutes, Lourenço Gueifão mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Taiao and the Tramaga FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lourenço Gueifão kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Nuno Ferreira took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Xavier Matos to make any attempt to save it. Jorge Henriques showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fábio Borges, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute.
