Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The supporters of SC Beca booed when SC Carvalheda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gil Jesus didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10th minute of the match José Cabral sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Viriato Fontes skillfully saved the ball. Jorge Dias's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 11thth minute, Viriato Fontes skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Simão Luz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Tomás Costa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to SC Beca getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Gaspar Santos hit a great ball. In the 17th minute of the match Mário Neves shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tomás Costa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Viriato Fontes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Cabral in the 21st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Simão Luz in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomás Costa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Simão Luz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Tomás Costa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sebastião Neves during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 42nd match minute, SC Carvalheda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastião Neves to maneuver through the defense. 46 minutes into the match, SC Beca's José Cabral sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Viriato Fontes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and José Cabral made a kick off. Viriato Fontes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Dias in the 51st minute of the match. In the 55th minute Jorge Dias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viriato Fontes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jorge Dias took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Viriato Fontes. Viriato Fontes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Eduardo Amaro charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eduardo Amaro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 63 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SC Beca! Tomás Costa had in the 65thth minute some difficulties stopping Mário Neves's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Tomás Costa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mário Neves went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. If José Cabral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 78 minutes into the game, Fernando Azevedo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tomás Costa. Fernando Azevedo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. SC Beca's Tomás Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Azevedo in the 85th minute of play. If Jorge Dias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 90 minutes into the game, Jorge Dias cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Viriato Fontes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
