Isidoro Maltez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gil Fonseca, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Bruno Brás recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Queiroal's Adelino Pacheco got a free kick in the 71st minute. The audience was convinced that Paulino Fraga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bento Vaz was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. In the 80th minute, Luís Pereira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luís Pereira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 85 played minutes CF Valadares got a freekick which was hit by Tiago Lisboa. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gil Fonseca in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Isidoro Maltez saved CF Valadares from getting behind. CF Valadares's Isidoro Maltez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save CF Valadares from getting a goal against them. Gil Fonseca's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Isidoro Maltez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Queiroal's goalkeeper Bento Vaz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 98 minutes into the match, Queiroal's Gil Fonseca sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Isidoro Maltez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
