Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Amadeu Pimentel got the match started through his kick off. After a rather tough play, Queiroal's Carlos Bessa got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Queiroal's Bento Vaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amadeu Pimentel in the 6th minute of play. Adelino Maia hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Bento Vaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeu Pimentel in the 11th minute of play. Bento Vaz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amadeu Pimentel's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. With a little luck, Queiroal's Bento Vaz got control of the ball when Samuel Lobo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Amadeu Pimentel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Bento Vaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Marmeleira's goalkeeper Palmiro Galvão, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Amadeu Pimentel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luís Pereira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Samuel Lobo struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Bento Vaz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Marmeleira. Samuel Lobo in the 39thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bento Vaz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Amadeu Pimentel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bento Vaz having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Queiroal's Adelino Pacheco got a free kick in the 42nd minute. 43 minutes into the match, SC Marmeleira's Zeferino Freire broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Samuel Lobo scored 1-0 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bento Vaz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gil Fonseca to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amadeu Pimentel in the 56th minute of play forced Queiroal's goalkeeper Bento Vaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th match minute, SC Marmeleira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jarbas Coimbra to maneuver through the defense. After 66 played minutes Queiroal got a freekick which was hit by Adelino Pacheco. The supporters of SC Marmeleira booed when Queiroal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adelino Pacheco didn't get a good kick on the ball. 73 minutes into the game, SC Marmeleira's Samuel Lobo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bento Vaz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gil Fonseca in the 77th minute of play forced SC Marmeleira's goalkeeper Palmiro Galvão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Queiroal booed when SC Marmeleira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dário Delgado didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Samuel Lobo in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bento Vaz saved Queiroal from getting behind. Gil Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Palmiro Galvão having to interfere. Samuel Lobo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Bento Vaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adelino Maia hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Bento Vaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeu Pimentel in the 90th minute of play. After 90 minutes, Adelino Maia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Queiroal and the SC Marmeleira players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 90th minute, Adelino Maia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bento Vaz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amadeu Pimentel, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. In the 96th minute Gil Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Palmiro Galvão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the SC Marmeleira players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
