Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Nuno Morais made the kick off and thus started the match. After a rather tough play, SC Ortigueira's Óscar Esteves got a free kick in the 6th minute. In the 8th minute, Catarino Gaspar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Nuno Morais had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Humberto Anjos hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Pedro Pinto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristiano Torres, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Nuno Morais recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When SC Ortigueira's Nuno Morais in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Arrancada's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in SC Arrancada's zone, Joaquim Barros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Domingos Pires came out of the goal and Joaquim Barros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 31 minutes into the game, SC Ortigueira's Nuno Morais nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Domingos Pires made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The supporters of SC Arrancada booed when SC Ortigueira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fábio Matos didn't get a good kick on the ball. SC Arrancada's Cristiano Torres got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 39 played minutes SC Ortigueira got a freekick which was hit by Nuno Leal. The SC Arrancada players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SC Ortigueira were winning 0-1.
The wind increased when Cristiano Torres made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, SC Ortigueira's Gustavo Jesus got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 59th match minute, SC Arrancada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristiano Torres to maneuver through the defense. Cristiano Torres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Matias in the 76th minute of play forced SC Ortigueira's goalkeeper Pedro Pinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Pinto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristiano Torres's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. In the 82nd minute of the match Hélder Reis sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Domingos Pires skillfully saved the ball. Hélder Reis hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. When Cristiano Torres came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the SC Arrancada fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristiano Torres couldn't finish the play. Nuno Morais received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Domingos Pires tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The SC Arrancada supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching SC Ortigueira's performance. The match ended with a win for SC Ortigueira.
