Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jerónimo Bacelar got the match started through his kick off. Gaspar Fagundes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basílio Dias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Domingos Leite made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerónimo Bacelar in the 11th minute of play. After 14 minutes, Claudemiro Caetano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Almendras and the Baleia players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 13th minute, one of SC Almendras:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SC Almendras. Humberto Borges shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Basílio Dias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Gaspar Fagundes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Matos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th minute Basílio Dias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaspar Fagundes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Basílio Dias got free in front of the goal in the 36th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Gaspar Fagundes was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 38th minute, Basílio Dias ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gaspar Fagundes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Gaspar Fagundes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basílio Dias in the 42nd minute of the match. 46 minutes into the game, Baleia 's Carlos Matos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gaspar Fagundes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After the first half Baleia were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Amadeu Caldas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in SC Almendras's zone, Carlos Matos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gaspar Fagundes came out of the goal and Carlos Matos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match clock showed 56 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Basílio Dias sped through SC Almendras's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gaspar Fagundes. Jerónimo Bacelar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Domingos Leite having to make a save. If Basílio Dias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When %teams%'s Basílio Dias was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 0-4 just inside the left pole, 70 minutes into the game. Gaspar Fagundes was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. Gaspar Fagundes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basílio Dias in the 75th minute of the match. After 77 minutes, Cristóvão Soares mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Baleia and the SC Almendras players grew even worse after the yellow card. Domingos Leite made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerónimo Bacelar in the 81st minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, Baleia 's Basílio Dias sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gaspar Fagundes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 93 minutes, Jerónimo Bacelar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Almendras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jerónimo Bacelar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Amadeu Caldas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Baleia getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Basílio Dias hit a great ball. Baleia 's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
