The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcelo Malta was the one to do the kick off. Frederico Faria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gil Viegas in the 55th minute of the match. After 55 minutes, Serafim Rebocho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the F.C.PORTO and the Teixeiro players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 56th minute, Serafim Rebocho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frederico Faria didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Armindo Ramos went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Armindo Ramos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Frederico Faria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emílio Paredes was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 70th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, F.C.PORTO's Serafim Rebocho got a free kick in the 74th minute. 76 minutes into the match, Armindo Ramos notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of F.C.PORTO's Frederico Faria. Frederico Faria was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Frederico Faria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gil Viegas in the 80th minute of play. If Armindo Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frederico Faria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gil Viegas, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Teixeiro's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
