Jerónimo Bacelar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diogo Mota having to interfere. André Gonçalves charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed André Gonçalves the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. André Gonçalves kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. In the 5th minute, Jerónimo Bacelar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Amadeu Caldas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gil Viegas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Gaspar Fagundes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Diogo Mota showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerónimo Bacelar in the 14th minute of the match. Amadeu Caldas struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Diogo Mota didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Almendras. 18 minutes into the match, SC Almendras's goal looked a bit too open when Armindo Ramos came free, but Gaspar Fagundes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gaspar Fagundes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gil Viegas in the 24th minute of the match. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Teixeiro's goalkeeper Diogo Mota, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 27th minute, Gil Viegas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gaspar Fagundes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The supporters of Teixeiro booed when SC Almendras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alcino Queiroga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gil Viegas succeeded in the game's 35th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. In the 40th minute, Gil Viegas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gaspar Fagundes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gil Viegas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gil Viegas struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Gaspar Fagundes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Teixeiro. After the first half Teixeiro were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gil Viegas to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Alcino Queiroga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gaspar Fagundes was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Gil Viegas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gil Viegas really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. Gil Viegas struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Gaspar Fagundes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Teixeiro.
