Óscar Aragão started the match with the kick off. Ramiro Coimbra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With an all-out effort, LADEIRA DO BATISTA FC's Jesualdo Machado threw himself towards the right post 9 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Zacarias Lencastre, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ramiro Coimbra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Jesualdo Machado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Caio Baptista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. LADEIRA DO BATISTA FC's Amadeu Correia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabiano Eiró in the 17th minute of play. In the 22nd minute of the match Jairo Queiroga sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Amadeu Correia skillfully saved the ball. 23 minutes into the game, Óscar Aragão cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Amadeu Correia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fabiano Eiró fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeu Correia having to interfere. Valdemar Caldeira's late challenge caught a SC Brancanes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valdemar Caldeira helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, LADEIRA DO BATISTA FC's Valdemar Caldeira got a free kick in the 30th minute. If Fabiano Eiró had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. LADEIRA DO BATISTA FC's Amadeu Correia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Óscar Aragão in the 33rd minute of play. After having played for 35 minutes, Fabiano Eiró managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Brancanes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabiano Eiró was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Amadeu Correia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Óscar Aragão in the 40th minute of the match. When Leonardo Jesus fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Brancanes's protests and gave Leonardo Jesus a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, SC Brancanes's Leonardo Jesus got a free kick in the 44th minute. Zacarias Lencastre struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Jesualdo Machado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LADEIRA DO BATISTA FC. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 46th minute of the game. One of SC Brancanes:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of LADEIRA DO BATISTA FC:s goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Fabiano Eiró's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amadeu Correia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Amadeu Correia made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Fabiano Eiró sent off a good shot on target. Óscar Aragão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeu Correia having to interfere. Diogo Caiado kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, LADEIRA DO BATISTA FC's goalkeeper Amadeu Correia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabiano Eiró. Fabiano Eiró received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Amadeu Correia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in LADEIRA DO BATISTA FC's zone, Fabiano Eiró stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amadeu Correia came out of the goal and Fabiano Eiró tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of SC Brancanes booed when LADEIRA DO BATISTA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Leme didn't get a good kick on the ball. 70 minutes into the game, Óscar Aragão recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Amadeu Correia. Óscar Aragão showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Silvestre Lucena hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. 83 minutes into the match, SC Brancanes's goal looked a bit too open when Zacarias Lencastre came free, but Jesualdo Machado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silvestre Lucena's late challenge caught a LADEIRA DO BATISTA FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silvestre Lucena helped the player get up and apologised. A well placed Óscar Aragão short distance shot in the 96th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. SC Brancanes's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
