When SC Foupana's João Neves in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bacelar's goalie prevented a goal. After 7 minutes, João Neves made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Bacelar's Alcino Sarmento tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Benedito Prada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bruno Liberato sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Humberto Fontes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benedito Prada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nuno Aguiar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. One of Bacelar:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of SC Foupana:s goal. The referee gave SC Foupana a penalty, 48 minutes into the game. Benedito Prada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Humberto Fontes having to interfere. In the 58th minute Bruno Liberato shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Fontes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Humberto Fontes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedito Prada in the 60th minute of play. Nuno Aguiar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Alcino Sarmento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedito Prada in the 71st minute of play forced SC Foupana's goalkeeper Humberto Fontes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee ignored Bacelar's protests and gave Caetano Freire a yellow card for diving instead. In the 86thth minute of the game Nuno Aguiar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bacelar's Alcino Sarmento was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 88th minute SC Foupana were awarded a corner. João Magalhães went to the cornerflag to take it. João Magalhães made a great header on SC Foupana's corner, it was just that Bacelar's Alcino Sarmento managed to reach the ball for a save. With a little luck, Bacelar's Alcino Sarmento got control of the ball when João Neves tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, SC Foupana's Eusébio Pedroso got a free kick in the 91st minute. In the 96th minute, Viriato Miranda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
