Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. José Aguiar started the match with the kick off. After having played for 3 minutes, Américo Gueifão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Carpalhosa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Américo Gueifão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Amílcar Freitas charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amílcar Freitas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 4th match minute, SC Carpalhosa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amílcar Freitas to maneuver through the defense. Gaspar Freitas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Aguiar in the 6th minute of play. A collision led to SC Carpalhosa getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Duarte Barbosa hit a great ball. A collision led to SC Touvedo getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Jorge Figueiredo hit a great ball. Gaspar Freitas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Aguiar in the 12th minute of play. José Leal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Adolfo Guerreiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SC Carpalhosa's José Leal got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Abel Neto managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Touvedo's supporters rose to their feet, but Abel Neto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gaspar Freitas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 24thth minute of the game José Aguiar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Carpalhosa's Gaspar Freitas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Américo Gueifão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SC Touvedo's Jorge Figueiredo got his second yellow card of the match in the 27th minute. The referee ordered Jorge Figueiredo off the ground. Jorge Figueiredo hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. If Abel Neto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. SC Carpalhosa's Amílcar Freitas got his second yellow card of the match in the 31st minute. The referee ordered Amílcar Freitas off the ground. In the 32nd minute, Amílcar Freitas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 36 minutes into the match, SC Carpalhosa's José Leal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adolfo Guerreiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. José Leal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolfo Guerreiro having to interfere. Pedro Costa might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adolfo Guerreiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pedro Costa ran back to his position shaking his head. Alexandre Costa charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alexandre Costa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in SC Carpalhosa fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 46th minute. Penalty!

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for José Leal to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice moves Abel Neto could shoot a difficult shot in the 55th minute, which Gaspar Freitas however easily saved by the left post. In the 59th minute, Pedro Pedroso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Gaspar Freitas managed to avoid a goal in the 60thth minute, when SC Touvedo's Abel Neto fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Adolfo Guerreiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Leal in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Carpalhosa's goalkeeper Gaspar Freitas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Abel Neto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Abel Neto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nuno Melo struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Gaspar Freitas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Touvedo. If Abel Neto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 75th minute by Abel Neto got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Adolfo Guerreiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Leal, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. If Abel Neto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José Leal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolfo Guerreiro having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in SC Touvedo's zone, Duarte Barbosa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adolfo Guerreiro came out of the goal and Duarte Barbosa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The SC Carpalhosa supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching SC Touvedo's performance. The match ended with a win for SC Touvedo.
