After 20 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Casainho! In the 21st minute there was a penalty for Seara. Nuno Moutinho stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Daniel Matias. 1-0. José Brás kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Manuel Cruz hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute Cristiano Pacheco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Matias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nuno Moutinho who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 32ndth minute tested the skills of Daniel Matias when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Casainho's zone, José Brás stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Matias came out of the goal and José Brás tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nuno Moutinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Matias having to interfere.
