Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Germano Amorim took the kick off in the first half of the match. Martir's Eduardo Martins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nuno Diegues in the 12th minute of play. If Nuno Diegues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vítor Maia took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Duarte Lessa. Duarte Lessa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nuno Diegues in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eduardo Martins saved Martir from getting behind. 22 minutes into the game, Nuno Diegues cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Eduardo Martins was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Germano Amorim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Martir's Sérgio Dantas got a free kick in the 28th minute. Eduardo Martins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilson Cabral in the 34th minute of play. If Vítor Maia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 38 played minutes SC Bacelos got a freekick which was hit by Raimundo Freitas. After 41 played minutes, SC Bacelos's Baltasar Moniz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Eduardo Martins came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SC Bacelos reached it. Nuno Diegues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Martins having to interfere. Nuno Diegues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Baltasar Moniz during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, SC Bacelos's Baltasar Moniz got a free kick in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sandro Figueiredo was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, SC Bacelos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baltasar Moniz to maneuver through the defense. Duarte Lessa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sandro Figueiredo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 54th minute, Raimundo Freitas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 55 minutes, Vítor Maia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Martir's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vítor Maia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nuno Diegues got free with Eduardo Martins in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Martir's Basílio Martins got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Nuno Diegues succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-3 in the 63rd playminute. When Martir's Sandro Figueiredo in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Bacelos's goalie prevented a goal. If Wilson Cabral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nuno Diegues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Eduardo Martins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, Germano Amorim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nuno Diegues could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Eduardo Martins made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Martir's zone, Nuno Diegues stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eduardo Martins came out of the goal and Nuno Diegues tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 90 minutes into the match, SC Bacelos's Germano Amorim sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eduardo Martins narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Eduardo Martins didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nuno Diegues went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. When the match was over SC Bacelos could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Martir throughout the match.
