After a rather tough play, Lagomar FC's Jorge Pegado got a free kick in the 8th minute. 10 minutes into the game, Nuno Trigueiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Diogo Pereira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leal lacerda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nuno Freitas, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Miguel Esteves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Leal lacerda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leal lacerda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nuno Freitas, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Diogo Pereira might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leal lacerda. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Diogo Pereira ran back to his position shaking his head. Marco Figueiredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Figueiredo in the 39th minute of play forced Lagomar FC's goalkeeper Leal lacerda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leal lacerda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nuno Freitas in the 43rd minute of the match. António Ramos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Osvaldo Sousa went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. If Nuno Freitas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nuno Quaresma made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Diogo Pereira managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Lixa's supporters rose to their feet, but Diogo Pereira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leal lacerda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 54th minute of the match, Nuno Freitas tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Leal lacerda saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 60th minute, Nuno Freitas fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Leal lacerda acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 63rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Humberto Araújo. FC Lixa's Miguel Esteves got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Marco Figueiredo came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the FC Lixa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marco Figueiredo couldn't finish the play. Nuno Freitas was extremely unlucky when he, in the 71st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Miguel Esteves in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leal lacerda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lagomar FC's Hermes Delgado got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marco Figueiredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leal lacerda having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Diogo Pereira managed to get in a good position for a shot. A wasted opportunity for FC Lixa. 89 minutes into the match, Lagomar FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nuno Freitas came free, but Leal lacerda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Lixa's Diogo Pereira got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nuno Freitas in the 92nd minute of play forced Lagomar FC's goalkeeper Leal lacerda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute of the match, Diogo Pereira got a very nice opportunity to score, but Leal lacerda was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post.
