Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and António Gomes made a kick off. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Varzea's goalkeeper Sandro Assis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cristóvão Aleixo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mário Mendes in the 85th minute of play.
