Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jacob Moura made the kick off which started today's match. After having played for 4 minutes, Celso Júdice managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cardanha's supporters crossed their fingers, but Celso Júdice was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dércio Mourão during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cardanha's Dércio Mourão got a free kick in the 7th minute. After 9 played minutes Cernache got a freekick which was hit by Artur Paiva. 12 minutes in the game, Dércio Mourão fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Cândido Cabral having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 15th minute by Jacob Moura got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After having played for 23 minutes, Jacob Moura managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cardanha's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacob Moura was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 29th minute, Emanuel Araújo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Cernache's zone, Dércio Mourão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cândido Cabral came out of the goal and Dércio Mourão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 34 minutes into the match, Cernache's goal looked a bit too open when Jacob Moura came free, but Cândido Cabral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dércio Mourão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cândido Cabral having to interfere. Inácio Jesus might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Veríssimo Martins. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Inácio Jesus ran back to his position shaking his head. Veríssimo Martins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Inácio Jesus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

In the 53rd minute, Inácio Jesus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gonçalo Dias hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. The supporters of Cernache booed when Cardanha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvano Magalhães didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 62nd minute of the match Américo Macedo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Veríssimo Martins showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Cândido Cabral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacob Moura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Artur Paiva kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. If Jacob Moura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 76 minutes into the match, Cardanha's goalkeeper Veríssimo Martins had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Inácio Jesus. A hard shot 80 in the game by Inácio Jesus from a close distance when the talented Veríssimo Martins managed to make a qualified save. Cardanha's players were relieved. After having played for 81 minutes, Emanuel Araújo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cernache's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emanuel Araújo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Januário Garcez hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. The nice shot from Inácio Jesus in the 83rdth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Veríssimo Martins had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. If Emanuel Araújo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cândido Cabral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacob Moura, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Cândido Cabral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dércio Mourão in the 97th minute of play. Cardanha were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Cernache for a fine match.
