Paulo Macedo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Marco Guerreiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice moves Tiago Oliveira could shoot a difficult shot in the 9th minute, which Gil Ferreira however easily saved by the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Afonso Valente in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulo Macedo saved Assobreiras FC from getting behind. In the 12th minute of the match André Aleixo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paulo Macedo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Gil Ferreira was a little too slow when Marco Guerreiro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 16th minute. The score was now 1-1. Tiago Oliveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil Ferreira having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Afonso Valente in the 22nd minute of play forced Assobreiras FC's goalkeeper Paulo Macedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Gil Ferreira managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when Assobreiras FC's Tiago Oliveira fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Afonso Valente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Paulo Macedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SC Piscouxe's Gil Ferreira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save SC Piscouxe from getting a goal against them. When Miguel Simões fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Piscouxe's protests and gave Miguel Simões a yellow card for diving instead. After 34 played minutes SC Piscouxe got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Simões. Abel Pacheco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Macedo having to interfere. Marco Guerreiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Assobreiras FC's goalkeeper Paulo Macedo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Henrique Baptista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Assobreiras FC's David Sá suffered a sore thigh after 44 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Miguel Simões got his second yellow card in the match during the 44th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Miguel Simões kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tiago Oliveira made a kick off. Tiago Oliveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil Ferreira having to interfere. Gil Ferreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiago Oliveira in the 58th minute of play. In the 64th minute, Hélder Jesus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Tiago Oliveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tiago Oliveira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Henrique Baptista could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Paulo Macedo made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Tiago Oliveira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Assobreiras FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tiago Oliveira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gil Ferreira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Marco Guerreiro came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Assobreiras FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marco Guerreiro couldn't finish the play. When Tiago Oliveira came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Assobreiras FC fans jumped to their feet. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
