When Diogo Pinho came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the CLUBE DO RIO F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diogo Pinho couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, CLUBE DO RIO F.C's Afonso Reis got a free kick in the 13th minute. Pedro Silva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diogo Pinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Pedro Silva stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amadeu Sarmento's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Manuel Porto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Pedro Silva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Corotelo's goalkeeper Pedro Silva, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pedro Silva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amadeu Sarmento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luís Moutinho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Nascimento in the 44th minute. Pedro Silva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amadeu Sarmento, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Luís Moutinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Santarém in the 47th minute of play. The Corotelo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. CLUBE DO RIO F.C were winning 0-2.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alfredo Santarém during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of CLUBE DO RIO F.C booed when Corotelo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Santarém didn't get a good kick on the ball. Diogo Pinho struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Pedro Silva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CLUBE DO RIO F.C. If Daniel Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 67 minutes, Pedro Silva successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Pedro Silva made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Diogo Pinho sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Corotelo defense, Diogo Pinho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Silva. The Corotelo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Silva should have stopped the shot. In the 77thth minute of the game Amadeu Sarmento who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Corotelo's Pedro Silva was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 77 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Amadeu Sarmento sped through Corotelo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pedro Silva. Diogo Pinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Pedro Silva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Diogo Pinho managed to get in a good position for a shot. CLUBE DO RIO F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Diogo Pinho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Silva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 95 minutes into the match, Daniel Nascimento had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luís Moutinho. CLUBE DO RIO F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Nascimento was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. CLUBE DO RIO F.C played a much better game than Corotelo and deserved their victory. The Corotelo players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
