An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Leite in the 2nd minute of play forced Fragua FC's goalkeeper Alexandre Delgado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. José Rodrigues charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed José Rodrigues the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Fragua FC booed when SC Besteiro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Rodrigues didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fragua FC's Alexandre Delgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Amaro in the 10th minute of play. 10 minutes into the game, Jorge Matos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fragua FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Besteiro the free kick. Jorge Matos kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. After 17 played minutes Fragua FC got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Matos. Ricardo Fontes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 29th minute, Mariano Amorim left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fragua FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Jorge Matos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Gonçalo Ferro made a huge save. Simão Tavares succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 35th playminute. Fragua FC's Alexandre Delgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Faria in the 38th minute of play. Gonçalo Ferro was a little too slow when Jorge Matos got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 39th minute. The score was now 3-0. SC Besteiro's Cláudio Matos got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fragua FC's Alexandre Delgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Fontes in the 46th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

In the 73rd match minute, Fragua FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artur Porto to maneuver through the defense. Fragua FC's Carlos Martins got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 79th minute of the match, Lucas Amaro tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Alexandre Delgado saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Mariano Amorim came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Fragua FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mariano Amorim couldn't finish the play. 91 minutes into the match, Alberto Faria dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alexandre Delgado, 3-2. In the 96th minute Ricardo Fontes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandre Delgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Fragua FC had won after a very even match.
