Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Rigueira FC's Gustavo Fernandes started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, SC Oleirinhos's Amável Meira got control of the ball when Carlos Amaral tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had been going on for 7 minutes, Rigueira FC's Inácio Amorim got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Amável Meira. Carlos Amaral could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Amável Meira made a huge save. After a rather tough play, SC Oleirinhos's Cláudio Colaço got a free kick in the 17th minute. Inácio Amorim might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Amável Meira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Inácio Amorim ran back to his position shaking his head. After 21 minutes of play, SC Oleirinhos's Vicente Leitão made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amílcar Pinho was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 26th minute, Gustavo Fernandes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Amável Meira. The goal made the score 2-1. Rigueira FC's Basílio Assis got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 38th minute of the game. One of SC Oleirinhos:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Rigueira FC:s goal. The supporters of SC Oleirinhos booed when Rigueira FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. André Assis didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 43 played minutes SC Oleirinhos got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Leitão. Amílcar Pinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vicente Leitão, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bernardo Leitão to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Carlos Amaral's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amável Meira was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. In the 54th minute Gustavo Fernandes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amável Meira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Amável Meira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Diogo Távora hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Carlos Amaral's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amável Meira was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. In the 62nd minute, Bernardo Leitão fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When Vicente Leitão, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 62 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Amílcar Pinho was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 68 minutes in the game, Vicente Leitão fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Amílcar Pinho having to interfere. A collision led to SC Oleirinhos getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Reginaldo Coimbra hit a great ball. In the 77th minute of the match Inácio Amorim sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Amável Meira skillfully saved the ball. Carlos Amaral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, SC Oleirinhos's Reginaldo Coimbra got a free kick in the 93rd minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the SC Oleirinhos players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Rigueira FC.
