Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Cristóvão Pinho kicked off to start the match. 7 minutes into the match, Boston Rangers's goal looked a bit too open when Cristóvão Pinho came free, but Fabiano Barros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristóvão Pinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabiano Barros having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adão Moniz during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Adão Moniz hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. If Cristóvão Pinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute, Cristóvão Pinho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nuno Amaro in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabiano Barros saved Boston Rangers from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Nuno Amaro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Castelo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nuno Amaro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabiano Barros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Cristóvão Pinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nuno Amaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabiano Barros having to interfere. Fabiano Barros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristóvão Pinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Nuno Amaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nuno Amaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Fabiano Barros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Boston Rangers players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Castelo FC were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frederico Mourão to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Luís Ramos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Castelo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Boston Rangers the free kick. 52 minutes into the match, Boston Rangers's Torcato Quental broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Frederico Mourão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Álvaro Fontes having to interfere. Fabiano Barros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristóvão Pinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 77 minutes, Frederico Mourão mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Boston Rangers and the Castelo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 77th match minute, Boston Rangers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frederico Mourão to maneuver through the defense. If Cristóvão Pinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Boston Rangers's Fabiano Barros got control of the ball when Nuno Amaro tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Nuno Amaro came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Castelo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nuno Amaro couldn't finish the play. Nuno Amaro kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 88thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Boston Rangers's keeper Fabiano Barros was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. With a little luck, Boston Rangers's Fabiano Barros got control of the ball when Nuno Amaro tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Castelo FC's Cristóvão Pinho in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Boston Rangers's goalie prevented a goal. When the match was over Castelo FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Boston Rangers throughout the match.
