Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Rubiais FC's Gabriel Veiga started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Rubiais FC's goalkeeper Simão Resende had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cláudio Henriques. After a rather tough play, Rubiais FC's Filipe Monteiro got a free kick in the 4th minute. Cláudio Henriques struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Simão Resende didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Rendufinho. Diogo Gueifão's late challenge caught a SC Rendufinho's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Diogo Gueifão helped the player get up and apologised. Filipe Neto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 12 played minutes Rubiais FC got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Resende. SC Rendufinho's Alexandre Delgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Mota in the 16th minute of play. Alexandre Delgado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Veiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Alexandre Delgado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Mota, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Filipe Neto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Simão Resende read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. In the 27th minute Filipe Neto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simão Resende saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Simão Resende showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filipe Neto in the 30th minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, Júlio Freitas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sandro Machado's late challenge caught a SC Rendufinho's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sandro Machado helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of SC Rendufinho booed when Rubiais FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sandro Machado didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gabriel Veiga in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alexandre Delgado saved SC Rendufinho from getting behind. Gaspar Silva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Filipe Neto was the one to do the kick off. After 55 minutes of play, SC Rendufinho's Filipe Neto made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Simão Resende was left in no man's land by his defense there! 59 minutes into the match, SC Rendufinho's Filipe Neto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Simão Resende narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alexandre Delgado made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when André Mota sent off a good shot on target. Alexandre Delgado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Veiga in the 64th minute of play. Filipe Neto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simão Resende having to interfere.
