Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Filipe Neto made the kick off and thus started the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristiano Amaral during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cristiano Amaral hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Cristóvão Pinho was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 14th minute. Castelo FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Cristóvão Pinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandre Delgado having to interfere. Cristóvão Pinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Alexandre Delgado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 24th minute Cristóvão Pinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandre Delgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SC Rendufinho's Alexandre Delgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristóvão Pinho in the 29th minute of play. Alexandre Delgado made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Nuno Amaro sent off a good shot on target. Filipe Neto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 36 minutes, Luís Ramos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Castelo FC and the SC Rendufinho players grew even worse after the yellow card. A hard shot 39 in the game by Nuno Amaro from a close distance when the talented Alexandre Delgado managed to make a qualified save. SC Rendufinho's players were relieved. In the 40th minute, Cristóvão Pinho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristóvão Pinho in the 41st minute of play forced SC Rendufinho's goalkeeper Alexandre Delgado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alexandre Delgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristóvão Pinho in the 46th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristóvão Pinho made a kick off. Castelo FC's Nuno Amaro got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Cristóvão Pinho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Castelo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristóvão Pinho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexandre Delgado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristóvão Pinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alexandre Delgado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristóvão Pinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Castelo FC's Nuno Amaro in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Rendufinho's goalie prevented a goal. Alexandre Delgado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristóvão Pinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69thth minute of the game Nuno Amaro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Rendufinho's Alexandre Delgado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Gaspar Silva fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Rendufinho's protests and gave Gaspar Silva a yellow card for diving instead. Cristóvão Pinho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nuno Amaro might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alexandre Delgado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nuno Amaro ran back to his position shaking his head. Cristóvão Pinho took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alexandre Delgado. Alexandre Delgado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Alexandre Delgado came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Castelo FC's Cristóvão Pinho. But to his dismay, Cristóvão Pinho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Castelo FC's goalkeeper Álvaro Fontes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Castelo FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
